Philip Springer, best known as the composer of the Christmas classic Santa Baby, has written countless celebrated songs performed by iconic artists such as Frank Sinatra, Eartha Kitt, Madonna, Cliff Richard, and Taylor Swift. In collaboration with Tamir Music, we were commissioned to design a high-quality hardback book that also houses a CD—celebrating Springer’s creative partnership with legendary lyricist E.Y. “Yip” Harburg.

Harburg, famed for writing the lyrics to timeless standards, including all the songs from The Wizard of Oz – including Over the Rainbow – shared a close friendship and artistic bond with Springer during the 1970s. The publication brings their collaboration to life through sheet music, lyrics, archival photos, and personal stories, offering a unique glimpse into their creative process and mutual admiration.

This special edition not only serves as a tribute to two giants of American music, but also as a collector’s piece for fans, historians, and musicians alike. The book was honoured with an International Impact Book Award in 2024.
